Mad Studio, founded by the legendary "Don Mario", has the vocation for creating photographic images and movies. The combination of its artistic director Mariano Di Cecilia as a photographer and filmmaker, and the singer and sound designer Anna Maria Lo Conte, is audiovisual translation of stories and emotions.

Mariano already has to his credit the prestigious collaboration with Franco Dragone, one of the greatest show-makers in the world and co-founder of Cirque du soleil, which has allowed him to travel the world and capture spectacular “moments of Fellini's suggestion”.

He arrives at photography through his experience with his grandfather, a photographer since 1933. From his first experiences in the darkroom, in the early 1990s, he took his first steps in reportage and portrait photography, immediately starting a journey made of personal visual research projects .

From April 2013 he collaborates with Vinicio Capossela, starting from the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome until the event, in August 2013, "Sponz Fest", realizing the documentary film with the homonymous title.

In November 2013 he worked on the documentary film "Aida making of," commissioned by the Compagnia Franco Dragone entertainment group. In 2015, he is involved with the Compagnia di Franco Dragone as a film-maker and photographer in the documentation of the show "Dai Show" on stage at Xishuangbanna in southern China.

The numerous collaborations with architects and designers lead Mariano to combine the study of the territory through photography, hence the inevitable arrival in the world of food photography, from the territorial cuisine to that of some of the most prestigious Italian chefs.

Since 2019 his work on food photography has arrived in New York, where he establishes numerous collaborations with some of the most renowned restaurants in the areas of Wall Street, Soho and Chelsea.

The current work on food and interior design is divided between Italy and the United States.
